Letter To Twinkletoes (Tinka’s Challenge)

I left out some poem titles to avoid the possibility of stretching credulity! LOL!!!!

Letter To Twinkletoes (Tinka’s Challenge)

Dear Twinkletoes,

“It’s Sixty-five Million Years This Fall” and

“Whispers Of Autumn” say

“The (Nasty) Boys Of Summer” have

“Not A Prayer” of getting into

“The Sanctuary” with all the

“Fuzzy Measures” and

“Little Faith” the

“Tiny Tyrant”s have shown to now. Well, the little bastards have hardly left us

“Heirlooms Of Thought.” They’ve crossed

“Boundaries, A Million Dollar Challenge” at a minimum! They ‘re barely

“Tokens Of Life,” anyway,

“The Half-Folk”

“Demons”!  Driving me

“Bats!”

“Ah, Pragmatism,” or perhaps

“Altruism Anyone?” There’s

“Hope For Bitter Enders” if we have a few

“Father-Son Conversations” in our

“Child Care” sessions (that’s a

“Poetic Metaphor” for

“Testing For Heaven) and teach them some

“Social Graces” with

“Crystal Clear Persuasion.” Maybe put them in

“A Special Place” under the

“Cosmos Wheel.” Okay, Okay!

“Imagination, Two-edged Sword” I have! So what?

“You’re At Your Best” if you

“Breathe Easy!” You can lead

“A Navajo Prayer Song” and if we can avoid

“Big Troubles In Heaven” by doing such

“An Uncommon Thing” it would quicken even

“God’s Pulse.” Of course,

“A Lesser God” might have a few

“Sweet and Sour” problems, knowing

“The Good Is Gone,” but after all, aren’t those just

“Prisms” of a

“Universal”

“Theory Of Everything?”  Puleeze!

“Beam Me Up Gently, Please”!!!!!!

Meanwhile,

“What Happened Today”?

“Behind The Scenes,” in a

“Non-Haiku Piece,” invoking

“Antecedent Chemistry,” and as he had the

“Seat Etiquette” right,

“Uncle Albert, Poetized”

“Sweet Virginia,” particularly

“Her Face” in a

“Tribute To Native Americans” to prepare for

“Sky-God’s Visit.” It was only

“Commercial Poetry,” not

“Prosetry” or

“Poesy.”  (Sky-God is to ride in on

“Chariots Of Fire” in the

“Power Of Storm,” bringing

“Magnificent Treasures” down

“Poverty’s Path.”)

Some think Uncle Albert is a

“Predator” when it comes to

“Boy, Girl” things, but with his

“Surplus Billions” from authoring

“Hard Math” through

“Intelligent Design,” who’s going to blow

“Sand” up

“The Cat In The Tall Hat”s

“Tapestry of Life” over

“What Happened to Liberty’s Lady?” Have a little

“Faith In Reason!”  I know I sound like the

“King of Caustic” to someone who is probably quite high, but my dear

“Twinkletoes On The Roof” of the world, the

“Last Writes” I did were a bit on the sappy side. Say hello to the

“Russells” for me.

“Love, Dad.”

Very interesting way to play with the words, Leland.
Kinda like a conservative "rap". Will certainly be tracking more of your work.
