OK, So this was my mother driving... and God knows I ain’t lying! One ways were two ways, and Exits were entered Like Mr. Magoo in a medians' center
Red lights were pretty And stop signs were bent. . . Curbs were for side-swiping Through eyes with a squint
Us kids were packed, like sardines in a tin “What’s that sign say?” and “Are we there yet?” and then... There she’d be yelling passer by’s by the bend. . .
Five fingers went waving, off the tip of her nose “Get a horse!” she would say, and then... off there she goes. . .! The gas to the floorboards, and then a quick stop! You felt like you were riding in some rocking, ricocheted jalopy!
Her bum was always at the edge of her seat up close to the dash, and gritting her teeth We teased her relentless, enumerated her dents Dad added them up, with dollars and cents. . .
Remember the times...When mom smashed into...? And almost rolled over? ...A daily routine! So, I guess, one day, no one in particular, mom finally realized, her wrongs with a vehicle ‘Cause Dad finally did, what he should’ve bin do’ in all along...
driving Miss Daisy...Singing a song!

I will be laughing about this one for awhile! Thanks!
Just finished a trip with a navigator without a clue, so I can relate.

A humorous look at the world and life through my eyes.
Follow the author and his wife, as they travel the world …. several times over.
Laugh at their funny stories, self-inflicted crazy events, strange observations, wacky zoo facts and snippets
