My "Author Tracker" was out in view
So I could check and do reviews
But then my sister called for me
and that’s when I saw, little Abbey

Deleting authors, but I don’t know who...?
So I need to apologize, whoever is you?
I’m sure in time, I can figure it out
But please be patient, and do not pout!

If you know I was tracking you
and I’ve gone away
E-mail me or send a post my way!
Because I don’t delete, who I love...OK?

Love and Peace is what I preach
Deleting you, is out of reach
So, let me know, if my cute little girl
Left you wondering, "What the... heel!"

ya gotta love um'

Cute, Kimmy. Never try to figure out why kids do things, I am not sure that there is an answer that seems logical to us, but to them, it probably makes perfect sense. A very Merry Christmas to you and to Abbey, too!
Take care,
Sherry

That was really cool. Taking something that's mundane and an everyday kind of experience and turning it into poetry. We use poetry for the "big" things, heightened emotions, drama, tragedy and intense joy but we usually don't bother turning little things into an art form. You have accomplished that here and I really appreciate it.
I bet Abbey had alot of fun too, probably thought she was helping you out in some way :-)

Funny Kimmy ... we have a mischievous young cat(10 months) named Abby. And she is just as inquisitive about the computer keyboard as little kids are.

The little butt once erased a whole page of text on my 4th novel. She ate kibbles for two days after that. (-:

Tell the key clicking little Abby
That she did not delete me
I'm still on the list
And I won't be missed
So give her my love from me

Yes you gotta love them, but they are exasperating sometimes. My grandson tounch some knobs on my video recorder and to tput on the TV became a hassle. After a while he touched them again and now all is working perfectly. But which knob did he touch? He at 15 months knows better than me. Victor

No problem here. Glad to see you back from your brief vacation, refreshed and ready to take on your brood for Christmas. You'll probably need another vacation by the time the Christmas season is over.

I know how that feels I lost all the ones I was tracking for about a week and then when I did get them back I was missing two or three who thought I had just stopped reviewing them. Hope you get it all fixed soon.

Am sure that little Abbey do what all children do EXPLORE!!!!!!
I remember when I had finished painting on a oil canvas a five thousand or so stars purporting a galaxy (3' by 5') when my own kind of Abbey tried her hand with the brushes in a moment when I blinked.
I explained her that my tears were of joy seeing how she helped.
Give Abbey a warm hug from all of us.

Oh, how awful, Kimmy. Someone must be feeling very rejected, and all because little Abbey got to your computer. LOL. I enjoyed this little poem.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
