Sleeping through the night seldom happens...

Poem Artwork

I woke up and wondered
What could this be
A good night's sleep
Oh golly gee
It never happens
I always wake up
Whether midnight
Or one o'clock
Three four wassup
My body did get
A much deserved rest
Now I can feel
My personal best
So whatever I did
Or didn't do I say
Thank you and hope
I can do it again today

An esoteric symbolism in this poem makes it a wonderful painting in the rainbow of eternity.

Even babies sometimes wake in the middle of the night, but it does feel good to sleep like one. :o)

I am thankful not to have this problem, Lynn; I sleep like a baby most nights (unless it's stormin'; then I'm wide awake! I hate storms--this coming from the T E X A S T O R N A D O! LOL)! Karla, on the other hand, sleeps great at night, but if she has a nap, she can hang it all up! (She's sleepin' like a baby now! LOL) I hope you get the rest you rightfully deserve!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Nothing like a good nights sleep to see the world in a new light.

I hope so, too, Lynn -- sleep is something we take for granted, until we are deprived of it, then it's coveted like gold. Cute poem!
Love,
CJ
