To Be or Not To Be In Love

I saw him standing and looking my way; acting like he was'nt listening to what I had to say. I was talking at a friend, whom I have known for a very long time, and she knew the words I spoke was for him all the while.

She knew I had the look of a woman's desire for a man in my eyes. It had been a long time since I'd been captivated by such admiration. I  just felt like a child-you know, puppy love. I would attract them, but I would'nt catch them. Miss goodie-two-shoe.

Oh well, there goes my love and my friend locked arm in arm headed toward the back door of the Green Light Motel.

Bye-bye, love ...! Definitely bittersweet in tone, but I like it. A lot. Good job, Louisa!
