The Old rugged Cross
At he Cross
He Lives within My Heart
(I serve a Risen Savior)

 ~~

There were three men hanging on crosses,
and of the three only one was not lost,
the Child of God, our Creator  was He.
Born of a woman, a believer like me.

He came to earth humble and obedient,
and therefore He follows His Father's plan.
Born to die that we...you and me can choose
to strive for unconditional, agape love, over sin.


While hanging in agony on His cross.
He made a promise to His world.

To this thief on His right, He promised,
"SEE YOU IN PARADISE".
He had fullfilled that which He came to do.
He demonstrated the Beauty of Holiness.

Senselessly and Shamelessly,
The people killed our Savior that day on a cross,
Which He alone carried up  Golgotha Hill.

In Jerusalem...He hung till death.

To save Himself,  He could have done...
But Jesus, Like His Father,  Loved us
above all creation.
 

He is our CREATOR'S SON!!!


He gave up the Ghost and through gates
of  hell He opened wide,
and took from satan, all power over every man.
And then to His Father's Throne He ascend.

He sits beside God to watch and protect us,
As we grow; to watch us please Him, and obey
His teachings, as we work to build up the
Heavenly Kingdom.
 
Where we too, will live forever more!

I have been perhaps as less as the thief
on the right side of Him. YET,
  When we choose integerty; have FAITH
 the REST is God's promise.
 
We too,will see Him in Paradise!!!
