I Know Not…

I know not who
I’ll meet in life along the way
But I know God will be present
Every time I pray.

I know not what
Tomorrow’s clouds will bring
But I know my vibrant joy of life
Will reward me with songs to sing.

I know not when
This God-given life will be o’er
But I’ll strive to live it to the fullest
With little else left to explore

I know not where
This life-long journey will lead
But my dynamic love of life
Will provide goals to supply my need

I know not how
God will receive me in the hereafter
But I know I’ll find in heaven
Angels singing through crystal laughter

I know not why
There is misery and pain on earth
But I know that God
Has promised us all a glorious rebirth.

In sharing with us all what you "know not," you have also shared what is at the core of our existence: God created us and gave us life for a purpose. In your poem you recognize God and openly acknowledge that you will pray and sing and live a dynamic and active life, just as He planned.

And in all of this you look forward to being with God and His angels in heaven in a glorious rebirth.

Oh, yes, Jeanette, in "not knowing," you have shared with us much that you do know. And in your sharing, you strengthen our trust and hope for the future.

Thank you for your sharing, my dear Jeanette. "I Know Not" is hugely inspirational just at a time in my life when inspiration is most needed.

With love, admiration and respect,
Richard

Jeanette, oh, how this touched my heart today. Such a beautiful message - none of us knows what lies in store for us but there's one thing for sure we'll do the best we can until we get to Heaven. God never fails His children. Beautiful!

A beautiful and inspiring write my friend, for when we are unsure of what is ahead, or yet to come, when we loose our place in this crowded world, or just seem to be drifting along, when all seems to be going wrong...there is one we can always count on! Our precious Father in Heaven...God will never fail us! Truly enjoyed this my friend, you've inspired me this morning and touched the depths of my heart and soul!
Blessings from Ky.
