This is so thought-provoking, profound even, Rusty-friend. When I listen to songs on the radio I'm often left wondering, as well. Like poetry, which paints love much the same way, it makes one wonder if anything that grand is ever even attainable ... Wonderful writing here.

We have been programmed to think that the Minstrel can help us with his words, but underneath it all, when the singing stops and we all leave the church...How many get kicked in the ass by the Minstrel himself...until next Sunday...when we go back for more.
