Poem Artwork

Humor was her fix
for a dreary day
So I eggsumed this one
to brighten her way

I can be an egg
good or bad
Egg-on a rotten-egg
and make him mad

I could lay an egg
which means I erred
Act like a rotten egg
if I dared

I can make egg salad
or sunnyside up
Serve them poached
in a bowl or cup

Egg rolls are fun
if the ground ain't bumpy
But egg on my face
makes me grumpy

The eggplants in my garden
aren't doing too well
I thought you had to peel
that hard old shell

I whip up an omelet
with my egg beater
And egg-nog p-eggs
my drunk-o-meter

And of course you know
it is my habit
To paint eggs laid
by the Easter Rabbit

And this is a good eggsample
of me being slightly cracked.

By all means eggscellent, witty and a great sense of humor. All this about eggs. Now try one on prickly pears. There's a challenge for you. Victor

A very enjoyable and fun poem! I would think though, after eating all those eggs you would need to do some eggsercise or have your cholesterol eggsamined. Thanks Rusty.
