Oh! My! , goodness me
I'm feeling pretty low.
No one is around no more.
Where did everyone go?

My big backyard is empty
and so is the playroom too.
Everyone has disappeared
without leaving a clue.

I looked in the attic
and the basement is bare.
This empty old house
gives me a scare.

I've looked in the ditches
and the tops of trees,
All that is left
is me and the breeze.

I ran to the park
and the swimming pool.
and down the road
to my old grade school.

Over to the movies,
I'll see someone there.
The seats were all vacant,
So I went to the fair.

Found cows and pigs
and an empty clown nose.
Only echoes came back
mocking my hellos.

I walked on back home
on my lonely street.
Didn't see no one
that I could meet.

All alone was me,
it made me cry.
Alone sits me,

Am going to cheat
and take a peak,
the next time I play
hide and go seek.
