Fruit of Eden

Mist in the morning, deep over the hill
In distant trees of Old- Time
Whispers that endure
The Magical moments
Of life times before…
-Yes…
Water trickling, in a near by stream
Scent of wild flowers…
And Birds singing…
I take a deep breath…!
And close my eyes…
Takes me back in time…
-Lips…
Are now smiling…
“Dance with me!”
-For I will never forget, this moment…!
-My heart races, to be with only “thee!”
-I wish to only ………
-My eyes have never witness such beauty…
“Please mistress!”
-Would you please dance with me…?
I open my eyes…
-Tears…
Flows down my face…
I gently cup them in my hand…
Hold them near my “heart…!”
With loving embrace…
Distant times of memories…
Tastes, that are so… real…!
I will never, ever forget thee
-For you are the apples…!
-And I am, the peal…

Thanks for reviewing MERMAID. This is a great poem, rich in sensation and imagery! The irregular rhymes work very well.

Christmas When Music Almost Killed the World by Aberjhani

Christmas When Music Almost Killed the World is a novel in which nothing is quite what it seems and everything is loaded with shadowy dreams of the past and nightmares set to soul-pounding music of the future.
