MOTHERS ARE HUMANS TOO


Mothers are humans too
They make mistakes like everyone
That’s nothing new
In fact, some can really stun

Any woman can be a mother
It takes immeasurable strength to be a good one
Some are good like no other
While others leave the job undone

It’s not because they’re bad
They just don’t know how
Or maybe, they’re too sad
To understand anyhow

So much is expected of a mother
Such expectation may take its toll
While causing her heart to ponder
Thus, compelling her feelings to fold

Many mothers try very hard
To meet others’ expectations
Which may add
To their frustrations

Whether your mommy is sweet or sour
Love her anyway
You might even be able to empower her
With love, in a special way

Once you realize she’s not perfect
You’ll be able to forgive her
You should try not to disrespect
Instead, try to understand her

At the end, all mothers are special
For giving us the precious gift of life
We should all be humble
In spite of our strife

We should be very lucky
She made love on that day.
Those things can get tricky
So, be happy for the day

“Being alive” should be fêted every day
By looking forward to a great day
Because there’s no other way
Meanwhile, have a great mother’s day
