I wish I celebrated this way for my country. First july was the independence day for Somalia and shamefully enough we had nothing but anarchy and strife to show the world. Oh if all people loved their country like this! I celebrate with you on this happy occasion of 4 July and wish you and your country a happy and prosperous future.

This is the best description of freedom I have ever read, Eileen. I will keep this poem because I love it and because I can't believe that I didn't write it. Wonderful, wonderful work! Happy 4th of July to you, too. We had a big air show here today at Kirtland AFB with the amazing Thunderbirds and all the rest. It always pumps me up to see them taking command of the sky and maneuvering those aircraft like they were tame little ponies. There is a certain sense of security that I feel when I see them in our skies and I am overcome with a feeling of gratitude and admiration of their commitment that allows me this freedom that I so dearly love and respect.
I noticed that the second "I Am" was captitalized, suggesting that this is not only a tribute to our great country, but also a tribute to the Most High God!
