The water kissed the sand, said"I'm so happy that we met"
The sand replied "Me too, because I love it when I'm wet"

A Hermit Crab was listening ,and had itself a chuckle
It hurried off a crawlin to  tell its friend the mussel
A Clam who had heard it too , thought it very funny
 It wondered why the ocean called the shore honey

The ocean kept on coming back to play upon the shore
The sand so happy every time could only ask for more
A seagull watching  what took place as it flew around
Always scavenging for what washed up on the ground

The Gull was amused to watch the Oceans action
It also was surprised by the beaches satisfaction
Before you know it the whole community knew
When Ocean and Sand Wed under skies of blue

As you can imagine there was a huge beach party
Some fishies did the rock and roll hale and hearty
Dolphins sweetly harmonized the wedding song
The oceanic community partied all night long~
