Profligate= dissolute--recklessly... wasteful

I think this is the best word to explain how
both "Wall st" and "Main st" ruined the economy

Scripture presents the work of the Creator symbolically,  in order to change the often
wasteful and profligate way, that mankind lives

We purposefully blind ourselves from
the truth that is plain to see
Then,when everything crashes around us
We blame the rest of humanity

We cry out to our Creator asking why
As if he's partly to blame
We  rarely worship honor and praise
Yet, importune without shame

When we don't get the answers we desire
We begin to doubt that God exists
The human race can be so despicable
What we need is to feel God's fist

How many of us  think of what He said
"Love  God with your whole heart"
"Pray unceasingly, in spirit and truth"
"Pray believing you will receive"
 "Have faith and trust in My promises"

Oh Lord, of everything that was, is, and will be
We have torn asunder Your holiness and beauty
Yet we dare come before You to heal our land
Even though none of us truly follow Your plan

 Magnificent Creator of all that exists
Humanity has lost respect and does not resist
The evil that runs rampant in our society
We expect help from You, while living a lie

I fail  to understand how we can be so cruel
Destroying Your gifts, ignoring Your rules
We've corrupted this planet and our fellow man
Still, we look to You for a helping hand

Yes,I boldly come before Your throne
of mercy and grace
Begging You not to leave us alone
To once more save the human race

Hopefully all of God's people say Amen!
Thank you ,Father, Son, ,Holy spirit
Now and forever! Amen!
