The ides of March, Lion, Lamb
presaging Spring says here I am
all in one day wind rain snow sun
it keeps us wondering which one
hailstorms some are golf ball size
the month that loves to dramatize
how much like humanity this season
renewal,rebirth,new goals, new reason
running the gamut from abyss to apex
taking emotions from please to vex
soft, sibilant, serene , serendipitous
raging,rampant, rapacious ,riotous
is there madness in this dichotomy
does this month need a lobotomy
I think March is beautifully adorned
after all it's the month I was born!
