Yeah, know the feeling, having had malignant breast tissue and an immune-system that has been aggressive towards my very self. At least you can turn your thoughts to zapping your intruding and parasitic "bugs"; it seems like a form of gross betrayal when it's one's own body that seems hell-bent on destroying itself! And you are a good Doctor, Eileen, who knows that humour is a very necessary and important part of beating back the bombardment, so keep that belly-laugh bug-spray handy and starve out the critters, showing them no mercy. ROUT THE GOUT! Praying against the pain... I have heard it said that positively engaging "the enemy" by visualising a battle with it is a good way to overcome as well as to feel empowered. Being such a warrior, on your own as well as others' behalfs, I imagine you know all the "tricks" in the book! Keep your guard up, and tell these infestors their days are numbered... xx
