Our minds are wonderful things to have, you never know what is going on inside until we bring it out into the open, then even we are surprised. We can know a person inside out without ever meeting them, and love them as though we've known them forever.
Down By The River
There it was, so crystal clear, The way I pictured you would be, The shimmer of your face in the mirror, Down by the river with me.
The waves a trickle, down by the river, The breeze so warm and clear, As I opened my heart and soul to you, And spoke the words I had to share.
Strangers we were but knew each other well, Never met before this very day, There was a closeness, I can't explain, With nothing to get in the way.
It's a hush, the secrets we shared, Of the family pain, secrets and sorrow, For things that were spoken between us, Will stay with us through our tomorrows.
Down by the river, we'll meet again, For the chats we'll continue to share, We'll look in the mirror and see once again, Down by the river, where it's warm and clear.
Beautiful, I know that you and I have stood by that river many a times and chatted about our pains and sorrows dear sis. I am also sure we will many times more in our lifetime, its what helps us heal.
