In my quiet cozy little house
I seam to have inherited a mouse
the small guy says hi everyday
But I think I want him out the way
I keep seeing out the corner of my eye
A flash of brown that darts by
I don't know were he get all his energy from
I suppose he's got his nose in my cookie drum
So I went to the shop to get a mouse trap
Not the kind with a piece of cheese and a snap
The one were you can catch him, then release
Now I hope the taking of my cookies will cease
