Beautiful rain
Falling in sheets
From a leaden sky,
Soaking into
The thirsty earth,
And bringing forth
Spring blossoms.
How I love the rain,
The coolness of it
Upon my skin,
The taste of it
Upon my lips,
And the fun of it
As I playfully
Stomp my way
Like a child
Through endless puddles.

But for all means, give tribute! :-( LOL

I like rain too, but not the typhoons and tsunamis. How well you describe the characteristics of rain as it touches one, this is a very good poem.

It's always a welcome sight to see the end of winter and the life of spring. Very beautifully written.
