A fantasy poem about a girl and a unicorn

Morning Magic
by Sharron Tyrrell

In a waking forest
at the break of dawn,
Stands a beautiful girl
with flowing robes on.

Radiant beauty
without compare,
she seems to be waiting
for someone there.

From off in the distance
a flash of white,
a magical creature
such pure delight.

Upon his head
a spiral horn,
he walks to the girl
on this mystical morn.

She reaches to touch him’
he nuzzles her side,
she sits upon him
together they ride.

Lifted into sky
on a cloud of magic,
past the waning moon
for a nightly frolic.

A mythical sight
with her long flowing hair,
they gallop off quickly
they vanish in thin air.

What a sight to witness
seems like a dream,
but I swear I saw them
leave on a moonbeam.
