The media has controlled our lives for much of the 20th (and now 21st) Century. Liked the way you portrayed this though

I understand the horror you have been
feeling. I just do not turn on the
television except for 30 minutes
a night nowdays. Tv is awful these days!

I don't watch very much....
It's all the same media bull
The media asking their stupid questions..
trying to make anyone look bad, but themselves.

I remember the days when children were protected from the "truth" of the media. Maybe that's the reason why some of us still have a conscience.

Totally agree about being in a trap at times, then old mind here just decides it needs to shut down so the off button is hit,,I sometimes wonder if to much info is just as bad as to little,,

This is an excellent write� however, one is never trapped! There is always the off button. Now the flip side of that decision is, �do we want to live in the dark ages?� �NOT ME� I want to know what THEY are doing!� Great write though. I truly enjoy your versatility and creativity.

I don't find the need to watch the tv news or listen to it on the radio, I cannot even listen to too many commercials on the radio, I find myself turning it off...when tv was first discovered and started to be found in everyones home, the same statement, "it will be the death of us all" was offered, but it is still around stronger than ever. I agree Karla...I hate it but I must watch
as I want to be informed of the news..it is
so sickening...I never imagined men could be
that evil...and it frightens me so much
because we let everyone into our country..
