like a sudden, devastating storm, divorce destroys lives as well.
i enter the silence of the room darkness lining the walls sadness echoing in the chambers of my broken heart as i see the reminders of our lives scattered here and there on the floor
i fall to my knees in abject pain how could this have happened so unexpected this tornado ripped my world apart as i see the reminders of our lives shattered in pieces on the floor
and i start to pick up the pieces deciding what to keep what to throw away my tears wet the mountains of debris as i see the reminders of our lives lying in ruins on the floor
a piece of paper catches my eye it's a poem you wrote when we were in love and now your words mean nothing to me i pick up the reminders of our lives and throw them in the trash
great comparing this with the worse storm and how it does makes everything look like little sticks when it leaves but always leaves something untouched as the poem was that object..
Very nice

Very sad but honest write of love dissipated in the ever-changing winds of disappointment and neglect. Beautifully done, Karla.
You are so precious.
