My prayers are with those who have felt Mother Nature's tornadic temper as of late.

Picture:  reds, yellows, greens
on the radar screen:  might
be pretty, but tell that
to those living under
the swirling color, black:
the storm did not give a
damn about color schemes
as it rearranged towns,
lives and buildings to its
satisfaction, despite
what the weatherman said.
It didn't care about how
it looked or how it would
come across on t.v. --
All it had on its mind was
creating chaos and
getting out before it
got caught on video:
wasn't quite quick enough.

Ah Karla, sad indeed for those caught in the throes of this terrible make-over. But when, my friend, when will the world understand and do what it says in 2 Chronicles 7:14? So many warnings...taken as global warming...so many opportunities for us to turn back to God. Still the warning goes unheeded...
Great write, dear Karla, as usual.

God Bless
Lots of love
Lena

Karla,
Your unmatchable skill to capture the horrifying truth and then portray it in so few words, tells me FOX News doesn't know who they are missing!

I sob when I see these images, Karla...in 1985, my daughters and I lived through a #5 tornado, which set down 200 feet from our door. My brother, Steve, called the police to see if I had perished! I was in the bathtub, lying on top of a pillow, which was on top of my Shelley's back and head. I had my Bible opened, on top of my head. I had 5 cats, shut in my dryer...my Anna-Marie was at a TRAILER PARK with her girlfriend, Starlene...the lines were out.
FAITH BUILDERS for us.

Jesus told us this was coming.......

I join you in your loving prayers, Karla

All we can do is write to lessen the feeling of being alone out there nursing the devastation pains.
When they say hard winter...they meant it!!!

Apparently the weather changes are now being blamed on UFO's! What will they think of next?

Your write brings the realities of the winds.

Karla, so sad, so many lives lost. Such a shame nature has to show her cruel side, isn't it.
Be safe,
Karen

i cannot remember tornadoes in the winter ... nature is really reflecting the collective consciousness of our planet ... they are a devastating force ... would be something to catch one on a video ... just to stare one in the face ...

We had a snow storm yesterday for the whole afternoon, dragged into the night that left thousands and thousands of people without hydro. When mother nature blows its temper, it leaves no mercy. Powerlines are down, trees toppled on homes. Snow turned into ice. Accidents everywhere

Yes, it would be nice if we have keep all the beautiful oolors of the world...

Hope you and Karen are okay. I will continue to pray for you both!!!!!

It's such a tragedy for people to have to go through nature's fury. I was up last night a 3:30, putting water, flashlights, blankets, etc. in my middle bathroom because of blankets of white lightning and Tornado warnings. Thank God it passed, but I know the feeling of fear---even if not devastation. God bless those who've gone through the worst of it. Blessings to you.

Yes all our hearts are surely with those who lost so much to the fury of mother nature in the extreme. Well put.
