Jump start economy: okay. Let's get money into the hands of the ones who need it instead of putting it back into the pockets already overflowing with greed - why do the rich need it more than those living on Social (in)Security or the disabled? It doesn't make any sense to me ... What about Veterans? Passed (over by) the buck, again.
i think that you make a valid point--i also think that people see that they get monet and forget to relaize that they have probobly paid into that very fund with their own taxes--just what i think--

Jump Start the Economy - Ya Gotta Love the concept: Give us a tiny fraction of our very own tax money back so we can now give it to the corporate stores, so they can make more money. Ya Gotta Love It!
A touchy subject for me too Karla. Truth of the matter is, we've done this to ourselves, some of us have, far too many anyway.
We’ve sent our industries overseas,
So the rich could make an extra buck;
We’ve sold out our own livelihood,
Now too many are down on their luck.
Let's all keep buying Toyotas, Sony TV's and other imports. We're just digging our own graves my friend.
Will this country ever wake up,
And realize we control our own fate?
We can revive our democracy,
We must do it now before it’s too late.
It does seem to be the way of the politicians...take the little peoples votes but give enough to the rich to insure when capaign funds are needed kickbacks are on the way.
Every American right now, I've been noticing, has nothing but bad things to report about our government...and yet, we supposedley live in the best country in the world!???
Well, if this is the best...I would hate to live where it's worse, because, left and right I am witnessing on a daily basis, veterans, the elderly, the sick, our children, everyone!... hurting desperately, especially, finacially...
I can only imagine how this impacts the poorest of poor...People are only going to stand this for so long and then either someone is going to come along and make an aboutface, or many will uprise in theirs!
I tend, the latter is what's going to end up happening, and its not going to be a pretty sight!
We'll be riding bronco's on their "Passed (Over by) Bucks!"

I am with you on this Karla, as far as I am concerned anyone who is on dissability should have equal living standards, it upsets me. I know where you are coming from, I have a sister with one leg because of Diabetis, she has had several heart attacks and they won't even let her have a mattress even though the springs are starting to come through her's, they keep saying it is not in the budget....choice words here are held back, but you and I know the rich keep getting richer and the poor are treated like crap. Thank you for sharing.
