krisie arrived in burleson late last night
(new friend from author's den--meeting a delight!)
and we talked & we talked 'til almost two
(but hadda go to bed...sleepiness ensued)
krisie is so cute, she has the *kewlest* hair
(she's a talented writer with lots of flair)
she shows so much maturity for her age
(i can understand her moods, why she must rage)
we woke up early & twinks showed her around
(which wasn't too hard...burleson's a small town)
we visited the library and where we work
(our being together certainly a perk)
and we talked to a fellow author's denner
(miss josie wooten made us feel like winners)
we cannot *wait* until we meet again
