i have a sadness and an anger in my heart,
and i am so mad i could rip something apart!

just look what happened on that september morning,
we thought it came out of the blue...with no warning.

planes were flown into buildings and a field that day,
and we watched thousands die in a terrible way.

we couldn't believe it...we were under attack,
it was a dark day indeed...'twas blacker than black.

one year later we feel an emptiness inside,
and we're trying to express american pride.

but now we find out the government may have known
three of the hijackers on the planes that were flown.

we're finding out the c.i.a. may have lied,
and information withheld caused thousands to die.

the c.i.a. knew * twenty months * in advance???
that terrorists might attack if given the chance???

why didn't you tell the president what you learned?
'twas bad not to tell us...the president, you spurned.

i thought you were experts at figuring out clues,
you should have told us...it was the least you could do.

maybe our loved ones would still be alive today...
no...instead we remember and visit their graves.

what should i tell johnny when he asks how his dad died?
"he died because our government didn't confide."

why weren't americans informed of this?
we needed to know...you should be dismissed!!!!
