My twin, Karen, and I saw Loretta last night, The seventh time I've seen her...it was a delight, This was a make up show, 'cause last time she got sick, Those that didn't get tickets? I bet they were ticked! Before the show, we met a singer, Erin Hay, Traditional country singer, well on her way, Embarrassed Karen when I said she likes to sing, My scrawny lil' neck my twin sis wanted to wring, 'Course, Erin wanted to hear her...she was impressed, Said, "you DO sing like Loretta!!" I agreed...YES!! 'Twas gettin' close to time for the show to begin, Stood and hollered when they said, "Here's Loretta LYNN!!" Hair loose, and dressed in a western style pantsuit, she pleased all of Texas by wearin' Texas boots! She looked and sang great...it is hard to believe, She's been singin' forty years...somethin' few achieve, A sold out show--wall to wall people, door to door, Each of us hollerin' for her to sing some more, She got so many flowers, they covered the ground, She was touched by the love of fans who love her sound, Sang all of her hits, "Coal Miner's Daughter" was last, Almost two hours she sang, went faster than fast, Alas...the show ended...and it was time to go, Get the chance, you've GOTTA see a Loretta Lynn show!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ya know, you two, Lorretta didn't know she could write OR sing, like BIG TIME when she started out either -- and she had sister Chrystal Gail's voice following her up the ladder.
