blue angels and thunderbirds

into the sky blue angels and thunderbirds ascend,
during peacetime, they perform, in war, they will defend,

flying in formation, maneuvering way up there,
everyone looks up, into the heavens we stare,

high into the heavens these beauties rapidly soar,
you don't expect the pass, or the earth shattering roar,

higher and higher they climb, they seem to touch the sun,
their bravery and courage leaves us humbled, and stunned,

that is the sound of freedom--let that noise never cease,
the blue angels and the thunderbirds--symbols of peace,

oh, blue angels and thunderbirds, fly forever high,
oh, i love to watch blue angels and thunderbirds fly!

oh, i love to watch blue angels and thunderbirds fly!
