Karla, everyone has fear. It's not the fear, it's the way you handle it that makes you the person. Look at the young soldiers fighting Saddam, they may end up shot, blown to pieces and whatever but they still fight.
This is what you have to do, keep fighting and praying for the best. You'll be okay, let your faith help you be a hero to yourself. Love, peace and happiness. Grady

Karla, if you choose to be afrid of stoms then I chose to have breast cancer! Some things just are! Only a fool would laugh at someone who had such a deep seeded fear! You do what ever it takes to make it through each one, and the hell with the idiots!

I love storms, Except the tornadoes you have described. Since I have moved to Texas we have had some whoppers here near Fort Worth haven't we Karla.

We all have fears of some sort. I, too, am afraid of thunders and lightnings ever since I was a little girl.

I don't suppose being told that the thunder was..."Just the brownies bowling..." would be any help? No? I didn't think so...

Karla, thanks for your sweet words on my page...Now I loved this expressive poem with so much imagery..I used to be deathly afraid of storms so I "know" the feeling here...you tremble...and I dont know what happened to me..but I am not afraid anymore..I actually love storms now..but not tornadoes..they are a bit much to take...I hope one day you can conquer this fear also..your dad is still in my prayers..floria

Oh my, That wasn't very nice of them to say, I love storms, something about them just bring me out to enjoy Nature's fury, but I would never tell someone their fear is irrational...now spiders on the other hand...
Ha! We all have our fears, Love this poem, felt like I was in the middle of one!

(((karla))) i am sorry you were told this; that person probably doesn't know what it is like to be scared. i know how you feel, as i am scared of storms too (but NOT to the extent you are; still, you have to admit that i AM scared of storms, right??). don't let others' comments bring you down; you are better than that! stay strong in your beliefs and convictions, and know that i WILL be there for you through stormy times and calm times! i love you with all my heart and soul! love, your twin, karen lynn.
