They really did pass their test, didn't they? One way or another. I think in some way, through their loss, they set themselves freer than they ever thought possible. The simplicity of this poem really reflects the simple hopes and aims that they had for their lives. A veritable piece of condensed hope.

yes it was so sad to hear the news yesterday. There lives have touched many all over the world. I would have took my chances too. Couldnt possibly imagine what they had been through all these years.
This was a moving tribute, as you say, they are now at peace.

Karla, how beautiful is your tribute! Maybe they were not born free, but now they are free as the wind, and at home in Heaven. What an inspiration to others are these conjoined twins. Even in their limited freedom, they accomplished so much with their lives. We are all understand how much they wanted to be free in body, the way they were free in their souls. Tears fall, and I can't help it. Bill Hugsssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

I was flabbergasted when I heard the news, Karla, what courage and life these twins had! Where they travel now, we don't know, but we do know they are together, as it should be. Lovely tribute! :)

<Tears tears tears> Karla this was a story I actually followed on the news for once because it was not the same old same old...it was a story of love, compassion and heart...you have done something here to with this piece...a great tribute that touches to the very depths of one's soul!

This is so "BEAUTIFUL?"
I have been following
the story...
They were such an inspiration to many people...
They did not allow a sad situation to stand in their way of growing... "Lawyers"

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. I was really hoping they would survive; but by looking at the diagram of their brain and that big vein, I thought the surgery was extremely risky.

This morning I heard one had died, and I was relieved that the other one was still alive; but then now....

But as you say, they can now run free, being together, in God's land. I wish them happiness forever.
