I was told, growing up, that I was
worthless, that my dreams were stupid,
and that I would always be a loser.

I believed the lies.

And now, I have a powerful weapon in
my defense.

And I shall never again remain silent.

LET FREEDOM RING!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
shut up, just shut up
                             i don't want to hear what you have to say
shut up, just shut up
                             your words are not important, anyway
shut up, just shut up
                             one more word, i will have to slap your face
shut up, just shut up
                             get out of my sight...you are a disgrace
and so i hid the words deep within
was expressing myself such a sin
shut up, just shut up
                             i don't want to hear what you have to say
shut up, just shut up
                             your words are not important, anyway
shut up, just shut up
                             one more word, i will have to slap your face
shut up, just shut up
                             get out of my sight...you are a disgrace
and so i hid the words in my soul
the hurt i felt was taking its toll
shut up, just shut up
                             i don't want to hear what you have to say
shut up, just shut up
                             your words are not important, anyway
shut up, just shut up
                             one more word, i will have to slap your face
shut up, just shut up
                             get out of my sight...you are a disgrace
and so i wrote, but my words were tossed
never to be seen, forever lost
shut up, just shut up
                             i don't want to hear what you have to say
shut up, just shut up
                             your words are not important, anyway
shut up, just shut up
                             one more word, i will have to slap your face
shut up, just shut up
                             get out of my sight...you are a disgrace
and so i hid the rage and my tears
anger my companion through the years
shut up, just shut up
                             i don't want to hear what you have to say
shut up, just shut up
                             your words are not important, anyway
shut up, just shut up
                             one more word, i will have to slap your face
shut up, just shut up
                             get out of my sight...you are a disgrace
and on nine-one-one, the words burst free
i will not shut up, believe you me!
Never believe those that try to put you down. They are usually just jealous of a talent that you have that they do not.
