Bound in her refusal to be his bride....She cries....

Bound in this tomb of ghastly wings

She cries

In her refusal to be his bride

In the black of night

Their wandering eyes

In their hunger cry

Their wings dancing around her

Forbidden a taste of his fruit

She simply cries

Dare to glance into his eyes?

She knows it is then

She is destined to die

His fangs

Slowly draining life from her soul

Condemning her

A follower

Another of his raging in anger

Corrupted souls

Stunned by the striking imagery you conjure up in this dark side poem that has just a hint of sadness as the victim realizes what has been lost. Well done Deb.
