She holds the oracle...Speaking the prophecy...War must end...Before darkness fall...

A beautiful Priestess

She stands high in the fog

Her hand holds the oracle

As the wind sweep through her hair

Her eyes speak the prophecy of the darkness

To unfold

The Gods have grown angry

The wars of evil abomination

Must end now?

Peace comes forth

The divided must now become whole

Death all fallen

Shall rest in peace from this moment forward?

Cometh a new alliance

Where Brother's paths will cross

Without violence

Where hearts will whisper

In crossing

Where friendships will grow

From afar

Where those will journey to see the other side

Without fear

Gather your weapons

Surrender them each now

Unto the Gods

End the tribulation to come

The hour of darkness unfolds

Be it up to the Kings now

To live in light with peace

or

Darkness still thine enemies

I'm not sure what your inspiration for this poem was, as I'm only starting to get to know you; but somehow (I can't explain) I think you are right; whether related to the Christian Bible prophecies or Native American or other, a time of great tribulation is coming on your race as an inevitable result of our lack of foresight; yet I also think you are right in that the end result after that time will be a new 1000 years of Peace... (Let's hope we all increase our Faith in Our Creator and get through the first half of this century.) Your poem got me thinking...
