Where Upon Old Steps of Stone

A piece of my soul...I left behind...
Another I took with me...Where upon old steps of stone...I count hours...

A piece of my soul

I left behind

Another I took with me

Inside traces of beauty and the

Steps of stone mark

Moments of cherished miles

I count the hours

I sat in thought

Another I took with me

I shared with God

Many thoughts in my heart

I can close my eyes

Knowing a part of me is still there

Reflecting the beauty in this moment

As if I still sit alone there
