The tune for this little song is a Spanish song/tune called "Llaga", which in English means open sore or wound. In the Spanish hymnal I have, the author is listed as anonymous. Anyway, I like the tune a lot. It is soft and ballad-like. Here are some English lyrics of mine if anyone would like to try them.
Hurt Him
Every day we hurt Him
When we curse His presence
When we tell our lies
Pierce Him
Every day we pierce Him
Putting other gods first
Gods that have no eyes
Ch: Seeking,
(Just) What is it we're seeking?
Can we
find it without Him?
Kick Him
Every day we kick Him
When we envy others
When we disobey
Mock Him
Every day we mock Him
When we slay a neighbor
Or keep not His day
Final ver: Loving
He's forever loving
Every sheep's important
Whether lost or found.(2X)

I am positive that every wound and mental suffering of Our Lord increases in proportion to our failings. Very inspirational. Victor

It unites spiritual wisdom from the East and West to help readers experience Christ consciousness in the here and now. Combining the Oneness teachings of India with a fresh look at the New Testament.
