"Have you heard the sound of the beekeeper, whistling softly to the hive, but yet know that he invites you, alone, his queen?"... someone, somewhere must be hearing this loud and clear, Jude! But meanwhile you have got the whole hive buzzing and in the mood for honey!! This is fruity and exotic, but also has the gentleness and subtlety of addressing not only another person, but the affirmative articulation of deep thoughts to self. It feels like you gather thoughts from a long way off, as well as from deep within. There seems to be a total immersion with this one: deep calling to deep. Makes me recall Whitman's "Leaves" again. Fuse-on!! LOL Kate xx PS Do you get the impression that I think this write is deep?! :)) ... Reminds me to get back to my study...

This burns like an ember, Robert, so seductive and sensual. A temptation that would appeal to the senses of any woman, being the hopeful romantics that we are by nature. A glass of wine, a rose and this poem bound in gold and I am certain she will melt in your presence. Great poetry, Robert!

If your lover has the same desires as you and your muses can meld together into one entity then you are a very fortunate man. Often we poets don't have the luxury of having people so close to our hearts who truly understand the necessity we have to pour out our hearts and sould to the world.
