We can learn a lot from the characteristics of water, so much so that its used in meditation. So powerful it will eventually dissolve rock. It's tides effect our rhythms. It is a healer. It takes the shape of whatever surrounds it, boils into gas that is turned to liquid again. It never goes away, just assumes a differant form...

Oh, my, Jude... this is, in its entirety and within each line, a marvelous read!
Personification, metaphor, they're there, yet it's the very human-ness of the thoughts that captures attention. "gurgles" is a most vivid word here... one of your many gifts, to me, is your exploration of what appears to be simple, yet holds messages that are revealed with your insights. Zinging! I somehow see that mused surface like a tin corrugated roof: the muse's peaks and troughs creating an enlarged total surface area which is resonant and a conductor of heat/charge, and a channeller of thought. If this is what a single drop contains, then what must be in the vastness of the oceans is totally mind-blowing! I wonder, are our lives a microcosm of the whole spectrum of life: all of life being in us as single drops - or are our individual lives just like a single stitch in the eternal tapestry, a mere drop which goes to make up the totality of the ocean of human experience? Sorry - you gurgle with intelligence; I babble with confusion!! :)) This now makes me feel differently about the rain beating currently on my West Country window panes... TY Kate xx

It's amazing what a droplet of water can inspire and how someone like you can bring this experience to us, the readers. I really liked this write. Can you tell I am a water person?
As you have always done, you have many more animated moments of spontaneous surges to immerse yourself into the calibrations of life! Let those ripples flow! Great poem master poet!

"Each drop reflects a spectrum of possibility" I feel like this when I walk in the rain. Each drop washes clean old negativity and opens the gates for fresh posibilities. Every day is an opportunity for increased evolvement of the spirit as we continue to move into the light. Excellent poetry, Robert. I hope that this poem is about you, or someone you care about, awakening into a new and positive personal dimension, lifting the veil that often obscures the view and interferes with the ability to maintain focus.
