~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No course to be recorded
No force to be seen
No fountain of nourishment
No happiness found in dreams
No world to be conquered
No light to be unveiled
No hope for true enlightenment
No time to calm the gale
Looking for a time
When words in silence reign
Listening to timeless lies
Behold my world of pain
The truth is not a shadow
When your voice adorns my shore
The moments you open secretly
Are the ones I most adore
Exquisitely tender rendering of life hidden in a lover's embrace-the lee in the storm and the sweet escape from chaos. Beauty, Jude...
Jude my friend you have created another masterpiece of deep passionate conviction and true feelings of a burning soul. As always your work is inspiring to the rest of us to say the least. Nice new profile picture to brother.
This poem actually secretes tenderness, and has the evocative ambiance of a private refuge, where the soft hands of serenity alleviate a troubled brow with their touch. Beautiful, Jude.
Bliss! A taste of heaven, of peace and of complete rest. I have real trouble gettin my mind round the concept that there is a "Beyond" even beyond your beyond (??!!) where even you would not have appetite to quest further... seems impossible to me; but if there is someone who can take you there, Jude, then that is awesome. There's such a tender and rocking lilt and gentleness to these rhyming couplets, such quiet. It's a weird thing with your intuitive gifting that you have the ability to lay everbody naked and it's like we are all in each other's heads on this page: you draw out such a symbiotic harmony between us. It is the place where we become an extension of your and our imagination and creative essence, perhaps?! As things would have it, my server went down last night just as I was about to post "Lapping Tide", so that's funny init?! Essays, essays and more essays... I shall be sooo glad when the next two weeks are over; thanks for keeping me going ;)! LOL Kate xx
Watch those tender kisses from people in NJ...like the sirens of mythical times, they can be for good or render you impotent...no such thing as impotence with regards your writing, Bob, you are right up to par there...Ed
Jude,
From denial to sojourn to realization and ultimately pathos. Your fingers are indeed heavy this round. You are tapped into a vein of self-discovery and you're mining diamonds.
