I so like this, Robert. It seems the answer to all of my own psycho prayers.

Here is some sound advice from a fearless explorer, brilliantly expressed. I'll return to this poem again the next time I'm afraid to take that leap. Thank you Robert.
On reading this work, I remind myself that living life is beautiful. I have often considered surrendering over the last few months, but then i do tend yo procrastinate a lot.
Surrender to oblivion? Lose the self in the pulse of life?

This verse says to get out of the race and take in and experience the blessings that the search for wealth and prestige won't allow. It's that special joy that small children enjoy in their discovery of the world around them, and this is why you call it a resurrection.
I love your phrases about sometimes surrendering, leaving our baggage behind and losing ourselves in the pulse of life and resurrection. Wonderful poem!
... but making the decision to get on the train can be soooo hard and the breaking out of the tomb even harder... I guess there just comes a point when the bubble either bursts - or expands to such a degree that it won't be denied and just lifts you clear of the terrestrial debris. This is such food for thought on my woolly-brained Friday night. Such tantalising paradoxes. The truth is always there, demanding a voice deep inside of us: whether it is stifled or allowed to be expressed is another matter. But only the truth can bring resurrection, that's for sure. What a tumultuous soul you have, Jude; well-suited to an ocean setting! Can't believe the heights and depths you have covered in your poetry this week. No wonder there is global warming and the sea-levels are rising, with all the energy you create! :)) TY Kate xx
It is true that sometimes we must shed our skin. The day-to-day life that spins (out of control) around us can tend to shadow our vision of purpose. Sometimes we have to walk away from those who matter to us because their burdens are interfering with the quality of our life and our own pursuit of happiness. We can only offer support; we cannot walk in their shoes. That very fact can, at times, make our efforts seem futile. It is a thin line between being concerned and absorbing the problems of the world into our being. Perhaps this is the "lesson" of life. Perhaps through understanding this, we will understand how God only guides us, He does not change the path we choose. We can have an effect on things, we can change our point of view and ourselves, but we cannot change others or predestined events. Powerful and strong, this poem really makes the reader understand that he/she must strip the membrane of chaos from their own life if they are ever going to be able to venture into the light. Excellent writing, Robert...as if you would EVER post anything less. ;~)

Sherry

This is an excellent reading of uncontrolled mysticism. The spiritual peeling away the material to find immortality. Thanks much, Peter
Great poem which well expresses an idea for which there is mountain of evidence for it's usefulness, but which is largely obscured by normal vision. Thanks, Henry
