This is perfect, Robert! Growth is what we all must aspire to. Sometimes we are fortunate enough to find another who seems to hold the keys to all the doors that have been blocking our way. I love this poem, into my library it goes.

Ah, Home Again, then! Thought I was never going to get back... have taken my fellow students horse riding on the Mendip Hills today and the experience has left us all more than a little threadbare - the most nervous of us came off but was thankfully unhurt... sorry, just winding down... Yeah, gorgeous mutuality and communion here and Roger and Kate took the word "expan/sive" right out of my mouth. I scribbled something before I left this morning, actually, that I will post later and which is literally RIGHT on the same page today, Jude! :) Portals that give us a vision of fecundity and fullness are the ones which inspire us higher, encouraging us to reach our full potential and giving us the energy and means by which to do so. True love must be the greatest fertilizer going... sorry, has to do with being around horses all day! You are guaranteed some prize blooms coming through your letterbox and a rich harvest in your heart and soul with this one! I love its clean lines and feng shui space... makes me think vanilla candles and indian head massage - especially after today! What I REALLY like about it is the peaceful contentment that comes with the sufficiency in the relationship you speak of here - one that feeds and nurtures the soul, so that it is fully equipped to engage with the world outside whilst yet being wholly satisfied on the inside, such that nothing else really matters... Growth is a multi-faceted dimension. As children, we are taught the first perception of growth as body weight and height, but luckily for us it doesn't stop there.
We move on into the personal growth era, where we become who we are within ourselves.
