Robert,
Even through the darkest of times and places, there is always hope, looming somewhere about.
All we have to do, is to reach for it.
You do Ku well too!

Hope will prevail when it embraces truth, light and love. Like a broken branch, bound by the winds of time is the determination of the tree to search out the light to nurture its leaves. And the light is as intrusive and as insistent as a spotlight bobbing in a fog surreal, never to be overcome. But of course! Such beautiful thoughts finding their way out and onto the page, spreading out nicely! ;) LOL K xx ... Yup, still feeling "winky"!

Ahhh this is a perfect Haiku, Jude, expertly executed in the classic nature format. A few simple words that speak volumes to the soul. That is the true goal of Haiku. You aced this!
Take care,
Sherry
