death of its own demise

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the surface of the moon is silent
ignored by wind
the sun king is roaring
for a gulp of radiant moisture
stars absorb
kindred rays of light
seas stir
molten ooze of fire
people are searching for love
as love goes unnoticed
bodies desire to be touched
emotions held for ransom
visions escape recognition
voices neglect to be heard
worlds isolated and impoverished
opulence thriving in dreams
there are days when light passes over
and nights when darkness hides
at the moment life is growing
with the death of its own demise
A superb study of contrasts. An almost oxymoronic series of statements that cause the reader to pause and contemplate. I enjoyed the reading.
I can't think air and water tonight... it has to be earth and fire for some reason; blood and gore. My metaphysical antennae are somehow in meltdown and this strikes me as all too visceral and accords with my heavy feet of clay. This feels as if I'm gazing through smoke-glass and blackened windows. Very weird. Reminds me, too, of the torture of sleep deprivation. I must have been on the cheese... But, scanning down, I have to say I am totally rocked by Sage's input. Zing-a-ling... "The reactive mind works wholly on two-value logic": life or death. Bingo! That's it! Choose life! I've too many tentacles of death round me throat today, squeezing down me positive choices. Perhaps something of this impasse is reflected in your imagery: the frustration of the now and not yet; the having and having not; the near and yet so far; life bent on its own destruction to achieve its ends. In short, madness. For sensory beings we sure seem to have been stripped of all our senses... or, at least, been made insensible. Sad demise indeed, but there are those who will overcome, I'm sure. Out of darkness comes the light as out of death comes life. This is a time, before the world's rebirth, to stay vigilent. Well done Ace.
It does seem sometimes like we are walking in a bizarre dream, hoping that it is just that, and we will soon awaken in the Eden state.
Good one Jude ...
Hence, the theories of lifeforce is formulated. Death of its own demise is with purpose and persistency. Pleasure is a vitally important factor in that lifeforce is considerably enhanced by pleasure, love, growth in which recharges new activity. Creative and constructive endeavor, the overcoming of obstacles toward some goal combine to recharge lifeforce. The reactive mind acts Wholly on two-value logic. Things are life or they are death. The friends, the allies mean Life! The enemies mean Death. There is no middle ground. Whoever is a friend is to be clasped to the bosom. Anything powerful enough to twist the blueprint and keep the body from developing or keep it from growing is death of its own demise. Powerful thinking powers and free life energy, Jude.
