~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our voices are as varied as the colors and patterns
Of autumn leaves swirling
Through an electrifying landscape of muse and introspection
Our voices sail upon conceptual winds of imagination
Gathering into an incredible mass of written breath
Revealing words created by foreign shapes
And indigenous designs
Skillfully placed in order by moods and perceptions
Randomly arranged in an impromptu earthly dance
Of cosmic proportions
Flowing though our hearts
And filtering through our minds
Our voices stimulate and infiltrate
Attempting not to regurgitate
The same old same old
Seeking to improve the content and quality
Of poetic priorities and artistic conquests
Illustrating the strength to endure
The echo of our own reflections
In effortless gestures of loving expression
In strenuous moments of truthful endeavor
In dreams unfurling the consequences
Of our fears and doubts
Such are the voices we share
Independently daring to survive
The depths of our own visions
Wow, Jude! You should try reading your own work, while listening to Chariots of Fire!
I think you carry a vast set of keys, my Gifted Friend, that unlock many and various doorways..
'Such are the voices we share
Independently daring to survive
The depths of our own visions.'
Captivating!
Striking similarities between our recent thought patterns, perhaps, though somewhat contrasting and paradoxical. Dayummm... guess that means I'm gonna have to take a hammer to my computer...!! :))
Powerfully resonant and affirming write, Jude; very ocean-traversing and tempest-weatherin. Good one for the old vocal chords... reminiscent in mood and vibrancy to Desiging Thoughts, I'd say...
Yep, same old same old blah blah from me... The usual Burnside response to anguish and pain. Oodles of well-wishes in the cameraderie of the high-five spirit comin to you through the www.window...
These lines speak to me - loudly! Thank you.
It is amazing how alike and how varied we are.
Like snowflakes - from a distance so similar and then up close all different. Even grains of sand - under the microscope - are all radically different. Like humans!
You paint a reality here Robert that infuses the entire universe, I believe.
These are excellent thoughts sage ...
Strange how our voices are not actually uttered and translated within our biological sphere, but out there in the incredibly busy unseen atmosphere.
One wonders exactly what it is that forms the howl of the wind.
Very strong imagery and not without a metaphysical dimension.
