Uncovered shipwrecks
On the shore collecting seashells
Look child, old man waves

Land of many flags
Embellishes a single thought
Freedom to share dreams

Going underground
Into a subway of dreams
Eyes growing green leaves

... Totally with Sage on the movement of this chain, redeeming the past, knitting it with the fabric of the diversity of the present and furthering it into the Great Unknown. Like witnessing the passing of a needle up and down through a tapestry in progress. Delightful connectors: youth with age; diversity with unity; putting down roots with fresh shoots of new growth. And the scent of liberation is strong throughout, dreams being the fuelling force of each ku.

... Think the greenery MY eyes are growing are carrot-tops, given my ability to see in the dark! :)) Uplifting, Jude, thank you. KuKu Kate xx

When Jude dreams he dreams in technicolour and stereo surround sound as evidenced with these co-mingled ku's with such beautiful clarity. Well done Jude my friend.

Though each of these is commanding in its own right, the second one really touched me. In dreams there is no division by country or by physical proximity; we are free to latch onto the same thoughts and blossom together, finding a common ground that is positively human and completely borne of acceptance. Very nice, Jude!
Take care,
Sherry

Dreams, the pathway to the truth as we see it or wish it to be, at times a sort of premonition. A place where all is free without boundries. A most beautiful write....

Be safe,
Karen

Truly a poem that keeps on giving. The Dream here metamorphoses from dead ship timbers into the growth of the last line, "Eyes growing green leaves." - this line particularly gives myth to many carved face sculptures, the Odin Greenman that Dickinson carved from an old tree stump, Daphne, the Greek goddess of laurel, her hair made from leaves, and one of my personal favorites, The Harvest of Bacchus, weathered grape vines and leaves become the hair and beard of the wine god Bacchus. The metaphor of rebirth sounds in this quill, the death of a shipwreck reborn into fertile green eyes - seeing things more clearer in the land of the free where nations unite with one big powerful dream, Jude.

Love,
Sage

There is not a word here that isn't used to aid the visuals. You leave us the spirit of suggestions for dreaming. Only a dream weaver can do that.
Excellent.
