~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An unexpected criterion of events
Transform your sense of being and purpose
Strange happenings, these events
That both control and liberate you
While feeding upon you
They nourish your actions and ideas
Marvelously appearing from the mundane
Transforming the imperfect into the divine
Moments of uncontrollable lucidity
Where the murky appearance of things dissipate into vision
And all you’re left with is character,
Knowledge, ability and a trickling of the sublime
Capillaries still entwine your movement
And the soul of faces continue to motivate your reason
As the will of imagination
Brings your further away, moving closer to design
Crafted {Designed} by a true artisan.
BTW...thanks for checking out the link on my "Linkage" page and letting me know it didn't work. I appreciate that. If you click on the link at the very bottom of my Bio page, though, it will work. I don't know why A.D. won't let me correct it on the 'poem' page.
Character is a great thing to have in this day of personalities.
Imagination can and does restrict most lives from living.
It is those moments of "lucidity" that the artist lives for...and then we drift back to the "normal" world...I like this...I do hope each time brings us a little closer to the "true design".
Always good things to you,
Jim
"the stars are screaming for attention, alive with your elusive scent across an expanding night sky..." - who said that?! :)) This makes me think of that glorious alignment which every single person on the face of this planet should experience at one time or another during their earthly sojourn: the moment of the personal epiphanic instant, when it's as if a combination lock has been penetrated by the laser formed from confluent beams of light, allowing external time, place and circumstances to align perfectly with the internal landscape, settings and condition. Sorry to speak in pictures, but this is perhaps another kaleidoscopic write which throws up holograms on the, as yet, undiscovered textures and fabrics of the intricately woven soul. Expertly crafted and meticulously designed as ever. K xx
Jude - Enjoyed "Closer to the Design" especially the paradox of the last two lines which sum up the poem:
Jude,
Your poem speaks of being open to those messages that we receive all the time. We are always being guided, but there are many days that we are just not listening..You have opened your ears and your heart. Let you be filled with magnificent white light, that will continue to guide you to your destiny. Insightful and thought provoking poem...
Peace, love, and light,
