you, more and more established
and recognized by the status quo
by those forces of intrinsic necessity:
by dreams and aspirations
gracefully yearning to permeate skill and ability
caring for, allowing them to grow and nurture
like a garden of grapes or tomatoes
stretching across horizon’s landscape,
succulent and sweet
ripe and delicious, pleasing both eye and palate -
universal delicacies of emotion
satisfy the deep hunger to connect,
appealing to an audience requesting, requiring and demanding
to be entranced by the mysteries of experience-
becoming a farmer of idea
feeding the heart and soul of both poor and rich
enthralled by the fabric of feedback
and the thrill of association:
by an insatiable sense of creative allure and atonement
as for me? I’m searching for the same
shopping for that anomalous wardrobe-
for the artistic attire of both mire and stardust,
espoused by the scenery of unfamiliar tastes and fashions-
concerned only with the creative process
and the variety of expression,
paraded on the unfashionable walkway
primed with the gutted glitter of “dreamland”
kinship is a continuous thread
redefining the spectrum of clothes
weaved as gifts
to be exchanged later
somewhere in the future where we will appear totally naked
Woooow these is incredibly
Beautiful and eloquently writing

We appear nakde today. Just cover ourselves with mystic ideas to try to appear better than we are before our brief charade is over and it makes no difference. Challenging ideas for me to wrestle.

Transport me back, clothe me in an ancient wardrobe that flows past my feet while I forget the reality of my nakedness. Well Done! Deborah

Hello! :)) I love this "poem of the people", Jude. In Anessa-speak, it could perhaps be Kins.hip - wot we all seemed to be joined by in this community of artists and family of close-knit friends. The wonderful, free-flowing, reflective expansivity of your "You" is rich and eloquent, conjuring majestic images of abundance, fertility and nurturing; good husbandry, in fact. By contrast, your "Me" is intricate and tightly woven; particular, elemental and definitely of a walk both on Lou Reed's wildside and a more religiously committed (in the artistic sense!) strait and narrow path that few are said to find. Everything, as usual, is worked and embellished with the fine seam of your unique tapesty of thought and articulation. The final five lines fascinate and enthrall: we can choose the wardrobes of self-expression according to our own personhood, but at certain other times we have specific forms of attire forced upon us. And, as you point out, all are "gifts" and adornments upon the frame of the invisible "real me", the "i am". Kinship is a wonderful picture of cameraderie and fraternity that is both appreciative of differences and variety, and cohesive in its wholehearted support of the whole. This poem reflects the wonderful, strange beauty and soul-enrichment of diversity in all its multivarious glories. And I have a sublime mental picture of that continuous thread unravelling and all our enforced fig leaves dissipating as a result! Totally divine. MWAH. Kindred Kate xx
The writer's modes and methods are almost as varied as leafs on a tree, we all express our hearts, souls and minds but the beauty of being a poet or artist of any type for that matter, is the uniqueness we bring to the table. Great write Jude.
This reads as a forensic gospel and collides with the synapses. To notice the differences with another is elemental, but to understand the essence of anothers intention by appearances is a rare gift.
Mr. Robert Jude Forese, it has been a pleasure trading light beams with you, sharpening our combined views. You've done us proud and now I get teary-eyed, so let's revisit my posting November 18, 2006 ELITE AD POET MR. ROBERT JUDE FORESE and going back further than that December 2005, my poem dedication to you, WE BUILT THIS CITY.
Jude.
I have always felt a kinship to you and your poetry, I have taken this poem to heart for some reason.
You write this with such passion and conviction.
I truly admire you.

This piece is extraordinary; I love it. You had me captured with each word. I'm keeping it under my favorites. Excellent writing propelled by creative, profound thinking.
This is a most thoughtful poem and it seems to differentiate between the goals of two intimates to find the thin thread of kinship. I get the feeling that it characterizes each person as looking for his/her own star while weaving it all around the one they care about.
Appealing to a demanding audience yearning of your skill and ability to convert in front of their eyes in another someone plowing the scene with your quill to feed the poor and the rich with the same bread made with your words.
Under Amber Skies, written by author and poet Jill Eisnaugle, is a wonderful collection of rhyming poetry guaranteed to please every reader. In this, her second book, she writes of new friendships kindled, as well as old friendships solidified. She g
