chaotic world
nothing noble or promising
pumps through your heart
pathos, fear, and illusion
infiltrate your greater dreams
your hopes, expectations and desires
are inscribed on cryptic scrolls
deciphered by idiots and sainted sycophants
your skin is akin to icy, anonymous embraces
and the contorted expressions
of abominable creatures
disguised as loving angels,
watching me strain
to heal from the inborn inflictions only you can create
your presence is disturbing,
motivating me to look and listen
where you are not
forcing me to search for god’s ghost
on distant, lonely stars
compelling me to intervene
even more remotely,
in the affairs of tomorrow
Unlike your title, what you do is motivate us to persevere,to continue on against all odds! The mighty Jude will always triumph over the chaotic world!;-)Bravo!

Robert/Jude! What an intense, dark poem! True, there are many of these things happening today, however, there is Godly love, beauty and positivity in exsistence also, but the news media won't cover even half of it! You must start with yourself, because deep within you, there is also strength and light. Concentrate on bringing forth your SPIRITUAL sword of light and strength, to help create and maintain the world and yourself, in the best ideal state possible!

I felt a strong vibration from your words, and never, ever give up hope for happiness and fulfillment. We all have bumps in the road, and we all survive, no matter what! This is a very deeply written poem, I really can relate and these stanzas really struck a chord within my soul:

There is such a strong sense of hopelessness expressed in this poem, Jude, yet there is a compelling need to go on in spite of it. One might speculate that your words hail from a dark place, where the thought of future seems like an overwhelming burden and where the heart feels as though a black curtain has been drawn around it. Well penned, sad write. I hope you are doing Okay, Jude.
Good title for a good poem. Going nowhere with this, but having to continue on in this life anyway. The words describing things here are very understandable and I can relate to them. Good works **********
