Operating in unison. We do. Life on planet Earth is certainly contemporized. And all of us (as) grains of sand on a beach, uniquely packed-together individuals, with a pre-ordained amount of space between us, being affected by every wave, and, with each heartbeat, invisible forces far greater than we can ever understand. Thinking that we, as individuals, choreograph our own moves seems hopeful, somewhat incomplete, and a tad naïve. Still, though, we all continue on diligently. It's good to know that eternal Truth transcends all of it. Effective imagery.
I agree that we make plans in a very uncertain world. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. We just need to keep on keepin' on and celebrate when we feel satisfied by a successful goal gained. Cool poem.

Jude, this was the best poem, in my opinion, I have ever read of yours. The poem was simple, but with concurring deep meanings. You cast us upon an ocean’s wave to do what we could with the surging, dipping and tumultuous waves, as in life, took us. I am very impressed with this poem.
