A picture a friend had emailed me (see photo for poem) inspired this particular piece.

Tumbling... Freefall into nothingness The void speeds by As points of light Flash to lines Painted in the sky Flying... Soaring in the universe Chaotic whims jumble Toss into balls of light To float by on astral fingers Stirring this universe Of magick Falling... The rocks hurt my back Exposed skin Ripped from bone Muscles and sinew Moist beneath As each layer of the body Disappears into thin air Tumbling... Freefall into nothingness The void slows down Lines of light Slowly become pinpoints Shining like diamonds At midnight
